Youth Basketball League
Description
The program is open to boys and girls of all abilities.
There are no tryouts! Participation, skill development, teamwork,
sportsmanship, and enjoyment of the game are priorities of the program.
Registration
Tues., December 16th, 6:00 - 7:00 p.m. Hemingway Elementary
Wed., December 15th, 5:30 - 7:30 p.m. Community Campus
Online Registration available December 1st ($5.00 discount
for online registrations)
Ages
K – 7th grade boys and girls
Kindergarten Basketball
The season runs from January 31st to March 2nd. The program
is only on Mondays and Wednesdays and runs from 5:30 to 6:15. Locations are
TBA. There are no teams. This is a clinic style program.
You will not be contacted by a coach. If registering online, cost is
$45.60(including jersey, jersey tax, instruction, mini basketball,
participation medal). If registering with a form, cost is $50.60 (including
jersey, jersey tax, instruction, mini basketball, participation medal). If
registering after January 31st, cost is $55.60 (including jersey, jersey tax,
instruction, mini basketball, participation medal).
Youth Basketball
The season runs from January 12th to March 18th. There is a
mandatory skills evaluation for 3rd through 7th graders January 6th in the BCRD
Gym at 6:00pm. There is a mandatory skills evaluation for 1st and 2nd graders
on January 11th in the BCRD Gym at 6:00pm. The season for 1st and 2nd graders
begins on January 31st. They practice or play games on Mondays and
Wednesdays only. All games and practices will be located at Hailey Elementary
or Hemingway Elementary. Times will vary by team. The season for 3rd through
7th graders begins with practices on January 12th. 3rd and 4th graders practice
and play games on Mondays and Wednesdays. 5th, 6th, and 7th graders practice
and play games on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
Games and practices will be at the BCRD Gym or Hemingway Elementary.
Times will vary by team. If registering online, cost is $55.60 (inlcuding jersey,
jersey tax, instruction, participation medal). If registering with a form, cost
is $60.60 (inlcuding jersey, jersey tax, instruction, participation medal). If
registering after January 6th, cost is $65.60 (inlcuding jersey, jersey tax,
instruction, participation medal).
Coaches Clinic
Day and Time TBA Will include a brief discussion and court demonstrations
