Though we had rain in the valley, Galena Trails received around 6 inches of heavy snow. The trail team was out rolling what they could today and will be grooming part of the Galena trails tomorrow. With the current forecast promising colder temps and more snow, the trails team is hoping to have Galena Trails and the Harriman down to Prairie Creek groomed for the weekend. They will set classic tracks where they are able to. For now, be patient, buy your pass if you haven’t already, and do more snow dances! Keep in mind, we have will have early season conditions, and conditions will go from soft to icy as the temperature drops. Use extra caution when you head out. Please do not walk on the Nordic trails and be sure to use snowshoes on snowshoe trails.
