The trail team packed Billy’s Bridge North and South Loops yesterday and both loops are groomed and open today! Keep an eye on the individual trail reports and map for updates. The trail team also groomed from SNRA to Galena for skate and classic along with most Galena Trails, Durrance, and North Fork Loop. Lake Creek is also being groomed, though conditions are thin. Please keep an eye on the groomer reports for more details.
While we are waiting for Ullr to grace Quigley, Lake Creek, and the Wood River Trail with enough snow to ski, enjoy the incredible skiing we are lucky to have on the north end of our valley. Keep an eye on the daily groomer reports for more specific trail updates. If you venture south of Baker Creek, keep in mind we do have early season conditions and hazards exist, especially below Frostbite Flats and on Durrance Loop. With the recent rain and cold temps in the valley, the most risky part of your day might be getting from your car to the trail in your ski boots! Be careful!
North Fork, Billy’s Bridge and Galena Snowshoe trails are all signed.
As always, please do not walk on the Nordic trails and be sure to use snowshoes on snowshoe trails.
Sawtooth Avalanche Center has reported moderate to considerable avalanche danger. For a full report visit sawtoothavalanche.com
Galena Lodge is open. Head up and enjoy all Galena has to offer.
