The Sun Valley area offers unmatched summer trail adventures. With an extensive multi-use, non-motorized paved path system, a trails park, and public lands with endless miles of trail, opportunities for hiking, biking, and equestrian abound.
The BCRD operates and maintains Quigley Trails Park in Hailey, the Wood River Trail, the Harriman Trail, and Galena Summer Trails. Additionally, the BCRD manages Summer Trailink, which provides up-to-date information on front and back country trails located on BLM, USFS and others lands throughout Blaine County.
The BCRD also maintains fishing access points along the Wood River Trail and in other areas throughout the Wood River Valley. Maps for public river access can be found at all local sporting good stores throughout the Wood River Valley, and at the BCRD office on the Community Campus in Hailey.
