Our Summer Trails
The Wood River Valley offers unmatched summer trail adventures. With an extensive multi-use, non-motorized paved path system, a trails park, and public lands with endless miles of trail, opportunities for hiking, biking, and equestrian abound.
BCRD Summer Trails
The BCRD operates and maintains Quigley Trails Park in Hailey, the Wood River Trail, the Harriman Trail, and Galena Summer Trails. Additionally, the BCRD manages Summer Trailink, which provides up-to-date information on front and back country trails located on BLM, USFS and others lands throughout Blaine County.
Wood River Trail
A 20+ mile paved, multi-use, year-round path that provides a non-motorized connection between the Wood River Valley communities of Bellevue, Hailey, Ketchum and Sun Valley.
Named in honor of W. Averell Harriman, the Harriman Trail is an 18-mile, non-motorized gravel pathway that begins north of Ketchum and ends at Galena Lodge.
Enjoy 47 miles of non-motorized single track around Galena Lodge, created in partnership with BCRD and the Sawtooth National Recreation Area.
Quigley Trails Park
Quigley Trail Park’s proximity to schools and neighborhoods in the southern Wood River Valley make it a popular outdoor recreation spot for youth, adults, seniors, and families.
Your valued support brings quality, affordable, accessible recreation to our community. Whether at Galena Lodge, out on our summer and winter trails, at the Aquatic Center, in our youth and adult sports and activities, or at FitWorks fitness center, these critical recreational programs and facilities exist because of the generosity of our supporters.
