Ski Free Days
Each winter, BCRD offers Nordic and snowshoe trails free to community.

Boulder Mountain Tour
February 6, 2027
The premier cross-country race in the Western United States, the Boulder Mountain Tour is staged on the historic Harriman Trail located in the pristine Sawtooth National Recreation Area.
Race distances are 34 kilometers, the Full Boulder, and 15 kilometers, the Charley Course Half Boulder.
Ski The Rails

Ski the Rails is a free Nordic ski tour along the Wood River Trail.
Start at Serenade Lane in Ketchum or anywhere on the Wood River Trail System. Finish at Myrtle Street in Hailey.

We regret to announce the cancelation of Ski the Rails due to unseasonably warm weather conditions and lack of snow. We appreciate your understanding and look forward to hosting future fun and engaging community events on the Wood River Trail.

Wood River Trail Challenge
Join us for the 2025 Wood River Trail Challenge.
To complete the challenge, you must ski, walk, snowshoe, or snowbike the entire 32 kilometers of the Wood River Trail.
